First  and for most because it is fun, interesting for the pupils and a different way to practise a language, this year 2009-2010, as we usually do every year, ESO 3^rd and ESO 4^th grade are going to the “Sala Borja” Theatre to watch “Fair Play” and “Pygmalion”.  

“RECURSOS EDUCATIVOS” is the firm that we have been collaborating with for more than 10 years. This firm was created in 1995 by professionals working in theatre and education. They provide a quality theatrical and educational experience in English, making learning fun for all ages. They have a social project each year collaborating with EDUCACIÖN SIN FRONTERAS since 1999. This year our support going to the theatre contributes to an educational project in Guatemala.

“Pygmalion”(ESO 4^th grade) :10^th March 2010,  9:45 Sala Borja

The scripts are read by the pupils in the first term ( “Fair Play” ) and second term ( “Pygmalion” ). During the English lessons the scripts are worked on forehand before going to the theatre: We listen to the CD, read and translate the script in order to facilitate the pupils understanding of the plot and the preparation of their essays (didactic worksheets designed to train the four basic skills in foreign language acquisition). The essays have to be completed on the following dates:

“Fair Play”:  26^th February

“Pygmalion”: 11th May

 ¡¡¡¡VAYAMOS AL TEATRO CON “RECURSOS EDUCATIVOS”!!!!

En primer lugar y principalmente porque es divertido, interesante para los alumnos y una forma diferente de practicar un idioma, este curso 2009-2010, como lo solemos hacer todos los años, 3º y 4º de ESO  vamos a ir a la “Sala Borja” a ver dos obras de teatro “Fair Play” y “Pygmalion”.

“RECURSOS EDUCATIVOS” es la empresa con la que hemos venido colaborando durante más de 10 años. Ésta empresa se creó en 1995 por profesionales del mundo del teatro y la educación. Ellos nos proporcionan una experiencia educativa de teatro en inglés, haciendo el aprendizaje divertido para todas las edades. Cada año tienen un proyecto social en colaboración con  EDUCACIÓN SIN FRONTERAS desde el año 1999.  Este curso nuestro apoyo yendo al teatro contribuye a un proyecto educativo en Guatemala.

Los guiones son leídos por los alumnos en el primer trimestre ( Fair Play ) y el segundo trimestre ( Pygmalion ). Durante las clases de inglés los guiones se trabajan de antemano antes de ir al teatro: escuchamos el CD, leemos y traducimos el guión para facilitar a los alumnos entender el argumento y la preparación de sus trabajos (ejercicios didácticos diseñados para practicar las cuatro destrezas básicas en la adquisición de un idioma). Los trabajos se deben entregar en las siguientes fechas:
